If you’re looking for pumpkin picking in Worcester or Worcestershire this October, come and join us down on the farm!
Our PYO Pumpkin Patch at Bennetts Willow Barn is back for October 2026, giving families the chance to enjoy a proper autumn day out on our fifth-generation family farm on the edge of Worcester.
And when we say pumpkin picking, we really do mean pumpkin picking.
Our pumpkins are grown right here on our farm, from seed, and you can head into the field to choose your favourite and pick it from the plant where it has actually been growing. No pumpkins bought in and placed around a field here!
A proper farm pumpkin-picking experience in Worcestershire
We started our Pumpkin Patch because we wanted to create a really authentic, wholesome autumn experience on our working farm.
You’ll wander up from Bennetts Willow Barn and into our pumpkin field, where you can hunt for your perfect pumpkin amongst the leaves and vines.
There are all sorts of shapes and sizes growing this year, from lovely little mini pumpkins to some absolute whoppers!
It’s not a perfectly manicured attraction – this is a real farm field. There will be weeds. There will probably be mud. Pumpkin plants can be prickly. And we think that’s all part of the fun.
Wellies, trousers and gloves are definitely recommended!
More than just picking a pumpkin 🎃
We wanted a visit to our Pumpkin Patch to be a lovely little autumn outing rather than simply somewhere to buy a pumpkin.
Your entry ticket includes access to the pumpkin field, seasonal photo opportunities, our mini digger and tractor gravel pit for little ones and a small children’s craft activity.
Once you’ve chosen your pumpkin, you can even carve it here on the farm in our polytunnel.
And the best bit?
Rather than taking all those pumpkin seeds and scoopings home with you, you can feed them to our very enthusiastic pumpkin patch pigs! 🐷
We’ve also just welcomed a litter of piglets onto the farm, so, weather permitting, we’re hoping Mum and her little ones will make some appearances at the patch this October too.

Pumpkin picking near Birmingham and across the West Midlands
Bennetts Willow Barn is located at Manor Farm on Malvern Road, on the outskirts of Worcester in the West Midlands.
That makes us a lovely countryside day out if you’re searching for a pumpkin patch in Worcestershire, as well as being within reach of families travelling from Birmingham, the wider West Midlands, Malvern, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Hereford, Gloucester and surrounding areas.
There’s free parking at Bennetts Willow Barn and from there you simply follow our Pumpkin Patch signs on foot up the farm track to the field.

Make a day of it at our Worcester farm café
One of the lovely things about visiting our Pumpkin Patch is that you can combine it with breakfast, lunch, cake or coffee at Bennetts Willow Barn Farm Café.
Our café is right here on our working dairy farm and is open daily from 9.30am until 3.30pm, serving homemade and locally sourced food.
We use milk from our own herd of Holstein cows and our own farm-reared beef, alongside produce from other local farmers, bakers and suppliers wherever we can.
There’s also a children’s play area, our resident pygmy goats to say hello to, and dogs are very welcome both at the café and at the Pumpkin Patch, provided they are kept on leads.
We strongly recommend booking your café table in advance, particularly for weekends and during October half term.

When is our Worcester Pumpkin Patch open?
Our Pumpkin Patch opens in early October and runs until Halloween, with selected opening days during term time and daily opening during the October half-term holidays.
We recommend booking your Pumpkin Patch tickets online in advance. Advance tickets are cheaper than purchasing entry on the day, and busy sessions may sell out.
Under twos visit free, and dogs are welcome on leads. Pumpkins are purchased separately, with prices depending on their size – so whether you choose a tiny one or find the biggest pumpkin in the field, the choice is yours!
So if you’re searching for pumpkin picking near Worcester, a family-friendly pumpkin patch in Worcestershire or an autumn day out in the West Midlands, we’d love to welcome you to our farm this October.
Pull on your wellies, bring the kids (and the dog!), and come and find your perfect pumpkin. 🎃🐷🍂
